Controltec holds a contract with the State of Missouri for a statewide time and attendance system. The contract includes hosting and maintaining a complex software system used by tens of thousands of users throughout the State 24/7/365. Controltec distributes tablet devices to users throughout the state by conducting personal training and installation visits. The support office answers calls from users, helping them with systems questions and challenges, like forgotten passwords, operational problems, and training issues. Controltec’s local office is in Jefferson City.
Primary Objective of Operations Manager Position
Holds the ultimate responsibility for the operational components of the State contract. This includes providing contract deliverables to the State, including services to users, if required, ongoing reporting to the State, as well as functional supervision of any delivery, training and support staff.
Responsible for customer satisfaction for the State products and services. Serves as the company’s local manager to the client and takes full responsibility for delivery of products and services.
Holds ultimate local project authority and responsibility. This includes management of costs, revenue, deliverables, ongoing reporting and risk. Works directly with company management in all departments.
Ensures that operational processes are in place, effective and designed to facilitate the company’s goal of delivering the products and services to the State effectively, profitably with the goals of quality and ultimate client satisfaction.
Staffs, recruits, motivates, trains, directs, leads and supervises delivery, clerical and support staff.
Manages the service order and change order process for the State, including collection of requirements, writing of functional requirements, and obtaining of engineering estimates from product managers or development staff.
Responsible for the overall management of company facilities and assets at the assigned location.
B.S. in business administration or equivalent educational background and related work experience.
Strong leadership and interpersonal written and verbal communications skills are necessary.
Education and experience in client handling skills are paramount.
Experience working with government agencies is highly desirable.
Understanding of web-based enterprise systems and mobile applications is necessary.
